AI Feature Disclosure
What AccountGo's AI-assisted features are for, why important answers need checking, and what remains to be verified about human review and data use.
1 You are interacting with AI
AccountGo integrates Anter to provide an assistant for platform help and questions about financial records. This draft describes the implemented AccountGo integration and distinguishes it from model and agent settings controlled outside this repository.
When you use an AccountGo AI assistant or report-question tool, you are interacting with an AI system. Its responses are generated with AI and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your particular business or accounting circumstances.
The app labels the panel “AccountGo Assistant,” uses an AI indicator, and displays “AI responses can contain mistakes. Verify before posting journals.”
2 What the features are for
- Platform assistant: provides conversational help with using AccountGo. Its page context includes the current route and section title, not an automatic copy of every visible screen or every workspace record.
- Financial questions: five AccountGo tools can retrieve the chart of accounts, trial balance, balance sheet, income statement, and posted general-ledger transactions. Depending on the request, results include account names/codes, balances, report periods, and paginated transaction lines and narrations.
These five tools are read-only. They do not create or post journals, edit records, send payments, or transfer money.
3 Human review
The implemented human-in-the-loop mechanism supports tool-request approval: the signed-in user can submit “approved” or “denied,” with an optional reason, for a tool request associated with an assistant execution. The decision is forwarded to Anter. The integration also supports cancelling and resuming executions.
Approving a tool request is not an independent review of the answer, its accounting accuracy, or its suitability for filing. The reviewed AccountGo code does not establish that every tool call requires approval or that an AccountGo employee, accountant, or other specialist reviews every response.
4 Check important results
AI responses can be wrong, omit relevant information, or misinterpret a question or report. Check important answers against the underlying AccountGo records and reports. Do not rely on an AI response alone to post or change accounting entries, make tax filings, issue financial statements, or make other consequential decisions. Consult your qualified accounting, tax, or legal professional where appropriate.
The assistant can generate explanations or suggestions; a suggestion is not an executed accounting entry. The currently implemented financial tools only retrieve data. Any new write/action tool would require its own accurate disclosure and safeguards before being represented here.
5 Information used by AI features
Your browser sends messages to AccountGo's authenticated API, which calls Anter's agent-runner service. The submitted context includes the page route/title, session identifier, user and workspace identifiers, workspace role, plan, active modules, and subscription status. The server supplies the identity and entitlement fields; the browser does not choose them. Requested tool results expose the selected financial information to the assistant workflow, not just anonymous totals. Descriptions and narrations can contain personal information.
The app lists and retrieves previous conversations through Anter, including user and assistant messages. Conversation-deletion requests are forwarded to Anter; this is not proof of deletion from its backups, logs, or downstream model providers. Closing an AccountGo account does not automatically invoke the conversation-deletion API. Approval decisions and optional reasons also go to Anter. The chat UI disables file upload in the reviewed configuration.
See the Privacy Policy and applicable customer data-processing terms for broader information about personal data and service processing.
6 Access, limitations, and availability
The assistant is integrated into authenticated workspace pages and requires configured Anter credentials on the server; it returns an unavailable response when not configured. Conversations are addressed using a user-and-workspace-scoped identifier. Financial-tool calls resolve the caller's active workspace membership and permissions on the server.
All five tools check for enabled financial/report modules. Trial balance, balance sheet, and income statement also require report-view permission; ledger retrieval requires journal-view permission. Owners and administrators have broad workspace permissions. The chart-of-accounts tool checks the module entitlement without a separate report-view permission check. Selecting an Invoicing & Bills workspace does not itself grant access to full accounting reports.
